I dispute it. With the tax cuts and rebound in stocks the middle class is doing fine

Party time, Well, the USA as a whole must lose ground as the rest of the world climbs to some degree of parity.
Remember, if the whole world has SUVs and all the rest of the material stuff USA has, how bad would the smog be, how long would the oil last.
For a global economy of equals we have to bring them all up to our level, or go down to meet them.
