OT: We are in the Nether Lands here on many a chart Susan. Buy signals for me are generated when the SOX reaches an RSI of 37 or 38 with the penetration of the lower Bollinger Band already having taken place.

Individual stocks like RFMD may show RSI's nearer 30 before a stock becomes a good buy. So for me the buy signal was generated last week. Now we are consolidating for a potential move higher that need not be sold until the SOX has an RSI of 70.

The same could be said for RFMD. Watch the stochastics first for signs that the stock is overbought. Then the RSI and finally the MACD which should top out last.

That's just my read which may be way off base.
