OT Albert, RE: "All of the rich kids that I knew in school were either in law or business."

When I graduated from school, the general opinion was, "lawyers are a dime a dozen" to quote the newspapers of the time, and MBAs were unemployed. Forbes or Fortune had an article explaining why MBAs were no longer needed. The only people getting jobs were engineers. Rich kids seemed to avoid law school back then. Now it seems like some people are moving from engineering into law school, finance, or real estate. But am seeing some rich kids enter engineering these days - seems like engineering tends to run in families.

Even in this economy, an engineer can find a job faster than an MBA.
