Yes, I agree he would save them from harm, and since I think he was only a charismatic man living 2000 years ago, I think he would have a bias against them, unless he was gay himself.
Gayness was well known back then and I'm not sure whether gays were punished as adulterer's were. For example, I haven't read anywhere that gays are punished in the MidEast even though adulterous woman still are. I have the feeling that the morals are still much the same.

You josh, of course. Then why the acrimony over prayer in school,the pledge, the 10 commandments, gay marriage, etc.? And many of them have champions for constitutional ammendments....
