Pilchdown...

I almost feel sympathy for you....what you described as a deeply religious experience (and for you, it may have been) is not any different than experiences shared by almost any couple who have been together a long time....I would guess that would include gay couples also. My wife and I are so melded together that we very often don't have to speak to communicate. We almost always do things that first consider the feelings of the other. We are rarely seen apart. I'm convinced she makes more sacrifices for me, but she argues the opposite. In restaurants, we almost invariable order the same thing. I don't think there is enough evidence to show the validity of mental telepathy but we have had so many experiences, I'm beginning to think it may be possible. After all, it would only be wireless communication.

I think if you want to attribute your experiences to your beliefs that's just fine with me, and I'm happy to hear you thinking as to why it happened. It's your conclusion that I think is misdirected.....
