Apparently the Catholic Church, normally neutral in politics, is prepared to back the Republican candidate due to the issues of abortion and gay marriage. As if Catholics in this country ever listen to the church...Kerry is proof of that by the fact of his remarriage. I think for the most part, Catholics are way too liberal to vote for Bush merely because he flipflopped on the issue of abortion. (He used to be FOR it)
