That was my rationale, I figured if I was going to get it,I didn't want to be busting my ass humping a back pack and fighting mosquitoes. I had a grunt friend that rested up in Nha Trang who badly wanted to get a door gunner position, but never did. Only bad thing was the chopper had to go into the jungles all the time for re-supplys, transporting, and med evac's. So they pretty much went where the action was.
