You're quibbling over very minor semantics, you who deliberately lied about what the French wrote about WMDs, remember that?

I never lied. I directly quoted someone who turned out to have cropped a quote, which I didn't know about at the time.

Unlike the tricks you pull with quotes all the time. You had Tenet's whole speech in front of you, yet said that Tenet was claiming that he had never said that Iraq was a threat, which is the DIRECT OPPOSITE of what he said.

Here's a rewrite, just for you, LOL:

It was Bush's clear intention to convince the American people that Iraq was a threat. The CIA now claims that it was their view that Iraq was not an imminent threat.

So, now you admit that Tenet never claimed that Iraq was not a threat, you made that up? Charming form of (non) apology you have there. It was the CIA's view that Iraq was a threat, but not an imminent threat. That was the Bush administration's view too, as laid out in the State of the Union. Bush said that after 9/11, it wasn't a good idea to wait around for Saddam to become in imminent threat.

BTW, you still haven't replied to today's Al Qaeda memo. Seems that the author thinks that Al Qaeda is having a VERY difficult time with Iraqi hearts and minds, and he is afraid of the day when Iraq will be patrolled by an Iraqi army and police, which we are trying to arrange ASAP. Therefore he urgently begs help in starting a civil war right now.

If we're losing, why isn't he triumphant?
