I Regret Missing Soros. Did He Say Anything of Note?

I think Fleck makes very good points in his recent Hedonics essay. That inflation has broken out in certain areas seems incontrovertible to me. It's a no brainer the government has strong incentives to keep those numbers down--as huge tranches of the populace on their payrolls have payments indexed/revised to the inflation rate...

The Great Wheel however rolling over us is Deflation. Global markets and all large Nations/Zones have joined in hyper-free markets (when compared to the last 100 years)... and this revival of Capitalism Unleashed is showing it can do amazing things--like arbitrage labor across oceans, continents.

It's astounding.

It's moving very fast as well but I think history shows there's always a good slug of the populace that does not want that much freedom--or speed.

The Zeitgeist of the Open Door is going to close at some point. The inflation that will result shall truly impress.
