I don't believe the crack up boom interest will be in gold shares directly (they will benefit indirectly), but more so to the actual commodity, via the ETF vehicle. You are are not going to draw billions into the market by having folks go down and purchase and store bullion or coins, or do research on which gold stock (or fund) to buy. An ETF representing one-tenth of a gold oz is a completely different animal.
