VP's who can deliver a red state: Richardson (Arizona and maybe Florida), Graham or Nelson (Florida), Bayh (Indiana and helps with Ohio and West Virginia), Clark (Arkansas), Gephardt (Missouri and helps in West Virginia, Ohio).

Of these, if I were Kerry I'd pick Richardson or Bayh, a fresh face.

Edwards is great but it's unclear if he can deliver a single state. Maybe a cabinet post instead.

Kerry can win New Hampshire which was a red state.
