and it is funny that Kerry has parked his service record on top his 150.00 hair As I understand it wound no's 1 & 2 required no time off from duty. scratches, wound no. 3, 2 days off. Using the reg. that anyone wounded three times in action can request relief from combat, Kerry, after only 6 mos in country, not the required 1 year, persuaded his commanding officer to allow him to go home, and became an Admiral's aide, whom he subsequently persuaded to allow him an early out from his service contract so he could run for office.
