Take say a Denver/Seattle, SLC/Seattle flight. On a clear day you'll see what clear cut mountains look like. Raped. Pillaged. They leave a couple rows along the roads to hide the damage. But when you fly over, you see how much lumber has been taken out of the Western States. It's depressing. I don't want to dig out the statistics in board feet cause I'll just get angrier. I'm sure though, that under Reagan & Bush way more was harvested than under Clinton. Wanna bet?
