On Iran Contra, Kerry was driven by disgust that far right-wing adn Watergate type factions were illegally using our military, selling our arms, and getting in the way of the DEA's cases against Columbian cocaine cartels. Kerry exposed these creeps and stopped them. He then went on to stop BCCI Bank and expose Noriega. The BCCI Bank did business with Osama, drug dealers and right-wing Ollie North types. It was one big money laundering operation. To bring it down though Kerry also had to take down Democrat Clark Clifford. He did so against warnings from fellow Democrats to lay off Clark. Kerry proved again that he stands up to special interests of ALL kinds.
