Thanks. It's nice to see someone else outside the box. It's pretty lonely out here. I wonder if anyone will engage you on it.

How about including Canada while we're at it? <g> Of course there's the problem that Canada and Mexico together have as many "states" as we do, no small obstacle. I doubt Mexico would go along if the terms were that they'd be just one state. OTOH, we could always invade them, particularly since they've already invaded us.

I have been a Bush supporter right up to the Amnesty for Mexican Illegals.

Unlike you, I don't like much of anything that Bush has done. But I was willing to give him one more chance to redeem himself when it leaked that there would be some sort of proposal. Well, things didn't work out that way. I wrote him completely off over that proposal--last straw for me.
