It certainly makes it easier to buy and or play gold...to me, that is

For short term(and longer term) plays on the physical metals
I use my Kitco Pool account.
Actually whenever we get a decent dip in either and I have a few extra bucks laying around I usually just go in and buy a few pools here and there.
I'll sell 'em occasionally and leave the cash in my account for later buys also.

I guess they are a lot like the pools except, unless you can get a certificate(for what ever that might be worth.)
I wonder if there will be any premium over spot for them- aside from what the market says fair value on them is..
