OT G,

Another good day for Berkshire Hathaway. Over the past year the "B" shares are up 50% from 2,000 to just over 3,000. Sometimes I have to ask myself why I (or anyone for that matter) would bother to compete against Warren. The usual answer is that he's not getting any younger. But neither are we.

Of course, AMAT has gone from 11 to 22 over the same period and some ST traders are complaining that it is stuck in a rut.

Problem is I sold my AMAT too soon and don't own nearly enough BRKB. I took some nice profits recently on a very speculative nanotech outfit, TINY, and have been having difficulty figuring out how to redeploy them. I suppose I'll have to put my money where my mouth is and go from one end of the quality spectrum to the other.
