Yes, Dizzy, that's exactly what I'm talking about. John Kerry has a lot to answer for. He should have asked a lot of tough questions when this country was so caught up in anger that it wanted to strike back at someone, somehwere, for 9/11. The democratic party and many individuals failed in their obligation to take unpopular but principled positions to protect the interests of this country. It may have been tilting at windmills, it may have been a fruitless sacrifice of political goals but it would have been the right thing to do. I wish that a man of stature and vision had stood up and taken that unpopular and tough stance.

If he had, I think he would now be the front runner for president of the United States. As it is, the only thing that endears Kerry to me is that he's been in combat and that his opponent, Bush, has already demonstrated that his judgement is atrocious.
