Kerry is not perfect but has no achilles heel, no major flaw which could make him unelectable compared to the much more flawed GW Bush. The reason I know this is that not only have I investigated, but my friend helped run the William Weld campaign against Kerry. He was the #3 guy in the campaign. He was totally frustrated as they couldn't find any real dirt on Kerry except the Vietnam protest stuff. Kerry's fellow vets came out to defend him and that issue died. If the RNC wants to make Vietnam protests their big attack issue, expect Kerry to amass 1000 angry macho vets around him and have a huge rally calling Bush a chickenhawk draft dodger who lies. Bushies will retreat right away.
