Lizzie, It is not as large as you think. A lot of IT jobs have been lost to better admin software, as well as SW with fewer bugs. In fact most of the reduction in IT jobs has been from improvements in SW and network management SW. Companies that use to have 10 IT staff, now have 5. Some with 1, now have none and use a remote admin package to an outside IT guy. In addition, computers have become more reiliable. Dem press tries to make it loom larger than it really is = politics at war. Bill
