Kerry has a choice, either a southern or a midwestern strategy. In terms of electoral votes, the midwestern strategy might be smarter. Plus the midwest are naturally more friendly to Democrats and have lost tons of jobs under Bush. If he chooses the midwest strategy, Evan Bayh might become the Veep, a good-looking moderate-conservative to go after Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia plus protect Pennsylvania and Michigan.

the other stretegy is really the Florida strategy.

Bill Richardson of course helps in both Florida and the southwest/Rockies. COuld he get Kerry Colorado?
