A manufacturing of truth? A perversion even? How could Bush possibly know that that's what the 500 people, who were ahead of him for National Guard Service, were thinking as their sole reason for letting Bush get selected ahead of them? I wonder exactly how many of those 500 eventually did get in after Bush. Another way to look at it, is that of those 500 how many alternatively got drafted or enlisted because they were going to get drafted and ended up in Vietnam?
