Am Sp,
So It is not all beer and biscuits with HP India outsourced support.
From the uinquirer.A few articles about outsourcing. Most is general IT talk.

IF YOU WANT to have a little fun, and you own a Compaq/HP Evo n610c, try the following stunt. Call in for a warranty replacement on your multibay battery. You will be instantly, or at least not as painfully long on hold as it used to be, connected to a chirpy, trained to sound happy member of the HPQ Indian support staff.
When the paperwork is done, they will happily send you your replacement battery, but it will be for the n600c. You can almost make it work though, it will slide half way in before it stops.

If you call up and explain that they sent you the wrong battery, they will, wait for it, send you another n600c battery. For some inexplicable reason, they can’t differentiate between the 610 and the 600 batteries. Our intrepid n610c owner now has 4 of the "no, it is the right" battery, and none of the right batteries.

Before you send me letters about how the Indian support teams are among the best etc etc, let me just state that I do know this. This is not an outsourcing problem, or even a language barrier problem. No, this is a plain and simple corporate stupidity problem, the one area where the new HP excels. We hear conflicting rumors about it though. Some say they will be outsourcing more US stupidity to India, others say the Indian management team is so good that they will be exporting some to other countries.

Whatever the case, someone at HP fix this. In fact fix all the support problems that are "not happening" with your Indian outsourcing efforts, please. I have to use them. If not, we will keep writing as people keep sending us problems, and from the sound of it, it won’t let up any time soon. µ
