IMO, this Presidential campaign will be different in that people will be looking for a positive message especially with Bush. All along, Bush has tried to put the people in a state of fear. Prior to the Iraq war, he kept telling people that the boogey man (Saddam) was coming with his WMD. After the Iraq invasion, he went on to tell that us that he had to spend all the money he had to because of the terrorist threat, something that he totally blew out of proportion. Now with the breaking events on WMD, with the experts such as Kay etc. speaking out, Bush's crdibility is at a all time low. Then there is that breaking story of his National Guard service. With every story that the WH is putting out, the more it is coming across that he is trying a cover up.

So right now his credibility with the American people is very low so much so that if he were to produce Osama, they would think that he had him all along but released the info to suit him politically.

So the Bush campaign has to be very careful in negative attacks on his opponent. It may just backfire
