Apart from gold and precious metal mutual funds and gold coins, I have no other investments. Nor do I follow the gyrations in the stock market regularly.

I have held gold mutual funds ever since 1985 and they are doing fine and I am confident they will continue to give me good returns. An initial investment of $5,000 in one of these funds have burgeoned to ~$42,000 at this time, despite all that the enemies of gold have been doing to discredit gold in order to drive the PoG down.

If you are interested in gold and related investments, you might be able to pick occasionally "nuggets" from the Gold Price Monitor thread on SI. (Just scroll down to the bottom of this page, type Gold Price Monitor into the search window and hit ENTER, and you be there....)

For starters, you might also want to visit dailyreckoning.com
and gold-eagle.com.

I hope this helps.
