That's just a convenient answer, albeit a non-credible
one. Clinton didn't suffer anyway near the level of
negative coverage when he bombed Haiti without going to
the UN, or when he avoided the UN to bomb Kosovo, or when
he didn't get UN approval to bomb Iraq in 1998, etc.,
etc., etc. If anything, the media portrayed Republican
dissent with disapproval. And where were the massive
global anti-war demonstrations replete with 24/7 anti-war
news coverage?

Your recollection of events does not jive with the facts
IMO.
