Actually I am talking about SF, I don't know much about the San Jose area. And this high end depreciation happened sometime in the last 18 mos, but I can't tell when. And of course nothing shows up in the stats. But hey, look on the good side, no mountain lion attacks in the city <gg>.

The rental market is much worse off. I rent an expensive house and feel lucky to have good tenants. Pets, no problem!
