Nice try.

One certainly need not adhere to, or even hold in regard, the objectivist philosophy of Ayn Rand (or, for that matter, to Lew Rockwell) to be a libertarian. But there are many parallels and ideological intersections between the two that make almost all libertarians appreciative of her writings, differing by degree from individual to individual.

Being against the Bush Administration is merely one facet of current political discourse. I'd add that it serves as a platform (or, where applies, as a 'qualifier') for any number of political parties and groups.

But to the extent that you are adamantly pro-state, anti-market, and pro-collectivism/egalitarianism, you are by definition not a libertarian; not even of the palest stripe.

That is excellent news. Government lawyers have been on a roll lately, perhaps this will reverse the trend.

Homeland Security (a vaguely Eurofascist term if there ever was one) lawyers are still inexplicably incarcerating a Tibetan nun.

And there is the case of a hard-working 56 year old father of five.

prosecutors defended their inquiry, saying it was limited to the narrow issue of whether a protester trespassed on Iowa National Guard property

Bravo! How dare this "protester" violate the sanctity of the stormtroopers' stronghold!
