So... he thinks: 'no improvement in the CIA for perhaps another decade or so.... (Big surprise....) As far as: "Baer: We have to start by telling the truth about the nature of the threat we face. A band-aid in Afghanistan just isn't going to help." --- I agree completely with these veiled denunciations of current policy. PS - re: 'moral'... Don't you think the WH's killing of the FBI's active investigation into Saudi financing sources for terrorist activity (immediately before 9-11), and their excising of all references to Saudi support for terrorism from the 9-11 Commission report they submitted, and their flying out of the country --- during the post 9-11 air travel ban --- of Saudis and bin Ladens, and refusing to even permit the FBI to question any of these people before they boarded their chartered and private jets... might have damaged the FBI's moral a bit????????
