Re: Perhaps the people aren't the mindless sheep I thought they were. Don't get your hopes up too high. The Bill of Rights Defense Committees and the few rulings in the courts to counter the Bush Madness are by no means representative of the people who huddle in front of their TV screens and take their marching order to go into a phony war under false pretenses, and now are lining up as a goose-stepping rabble behind an insipid but well packaged Democratic candidate, because they see others doing the same on a boob tube. Thankfully, the nation isn't led by the people, or "a mob" as the Founding Fathers used to describe them. But unfortunately, the nation isn't being led by a conscientious elite either. It's being led by a business mafioso. Who just love keeping the people as ill-informed as possible.
