austrieconomist,
Russell has over twice the experience, so I give him over twice the weight of any other guru, but also expect him to be twice as early, in as seeing twice as far ahead.

housing is too late and dangerous to play IMO

It is interesting is it not, how many sectors have reached the status of too late and too dangerous to play??

I liked iso's characterization of this as "dead zones". Play too long in those zones, you could end up financially dead.

I agree with you that "Preserve your capital" is paramount in the current market. I am not as certain that 83% bullish is not contrarian, but I also understand that all efforts are being made to keep the wheels on the market wagon at all costs, so I am not anxious to jump the gun in the short race.

In regards to all the above, if I had a Genie, instead of a guru, ggg, my first request would be, how high will Gold and Silver go in the next two years, my second, on what day of what month and year do the wheels fall off the wagon??
(the third and traditional last request I would hold in reserve)

But I have no Genie in a bottle or otherwise, so Patience and Caution must suffice.

Best Regards,
Roebear
