Al Quaida potentially provided Sadaam with the delivery system he so deparately sought for WMD. Until he had a delivery system there was no reason to stockpile WMD. So he could put that effort on hold.

Hey moron, the whole premise of the war was the WMDs. Now that it's been proven that there were none, at the cost of thousands of lives and thousands more horribly mutilated for life, all you can respond is Oooppps!
