American Spirit, Sorry to disappoint, but my father never once raised his hand to me. I remember seeing him think about it once after I had broken the same window with a ball for the third time in one summer, but he never acted on it. My father was a blue collar union guy who had to drop out of high school during the Depression to help his family. He was pretty circumspect about his voting habits and it would not have shocked me to find out that he voted Democratic. As far as I was concerned he had earned the right many times over to vote for whoever damn well he wanted to. While I do trend to the right, I am not a social conservative and I find homophobic comments, whether from the right or left, to be offensive. I have known and worked with a fair number of gays and lesbians. In my little world, it is live and let live. As a Kerry volunteer, you do your candidate a disservice. If the Democrats insist on demonizing Bush and his people at a personal level, Bush will win in a landslide. As for your suggestion that I have posed as a Dean supporter, I don't know where you get that idea. I have posted a lot of material on Dean simply because I am fascinated with the nuts and bolts of an insurgent candidate. You should actually be grateful to Dean. He kicked Kerry out of his shell. Read a recent Kerry speech. Portions of them sound like Dean, circa last summer. Sorry if my post offended you. Not responding to your comments was starting to make me feel unclean. Apologies to the thread for the disruption.

like Lazarus who admitted his father beat him as a child and since his father was a Democrat he now hates all Democrats You're a sexually fixated homophobe and a liar. The above didn't happen. It was you, not Laz, who indecently announced the lie that Laz hates all Democrats, and indecently then conjectured that this "hate" must be because he had a violent father who was a Democrat. I knew when I saw him discuss something personal that you would sociopathically take advantage of it. I PM'd him that it had been a mistake, because you are such a lowlife. Again: Laz didn't say that. You did, and have just falsely attributed it to Laz. If I reported people to SI Admin to get them suspended, I'd report you for that slander.
