Lizzie,
I've voted for specter for many yrs. This is 1st yr I've reconsidered & will do further research before making final decision. Specter fights primarily for urban area of Philly--he's considered very liberal Repub & manages to keep the urban vote happy. He probably caters to the education vote which has yielded 0 results when you consider amount spent on each student. Philadelphia's school system is so ineffective that the state was forced to take control. Specter is one of those long-time incumbents who should probably retire & give someone with new vision a chance to make a difference.

As with all other elections, I'll examine his opponent's stance on important issues & then make voting decision.
