I also am watching the greenie testimony. Notice the "Greenspan expects significant job growth shortly" as the banner on the bottom of the screen.

This is the best thing that can ever happen to people who want Bush out. Greenie doesn't understand the dynamics of offshoring really, from a personal perspective. There will be no *job growth spurt*, until India and China reach equilibrium with the US in terms of labor cost. There certainly is a profit spurt, and maybe a US corporate executive pay spurt, but no job growth spurt. On other matters Greenie has been right on, but not this. Still, the Bush admin has no option but to listen to him. In 6 mos we'll be hearing the same story and Bush and pretty much all hard line republicans will be in a world of hurt wrt their jobs.

Many GOP bills now indemnify polluters and other corporate interests facing large lawsuits. Some of those lawsuits have merit.
