Who the hack are you to talk about Mao "robbed" billions of lives? Lying liars telling lies<g>

Billions of Chinese were, have been, and still are thankful of Mao! It does NOT matter a bit what people like you think, say, or claim about Mao. Great people are great despite some slandering.

By the way, stop wasting your time to post to me on Mao, I do NOT read those nonsense of yours! my time are much better spend on other things

<<whose lives have been squandered in struggling in poverty rather than creativity and progress>> by the western world particularly US that was still under the spell of McCarthy anti-communism that was devoid of understanding and differentiation between forms of governments and nationalism. Throw in the strong colonialism tendencies of the western world at that time. General Stillwell's call for support of the faction that fought Imperial Japan went unheeded. Looking back, it was as much the western world's (US in particular) creation as much as internal. Don't forget the embargo and isolation, etc. Don't forget the initial backbone of Mao's gang had American idealism in their script, infatuated with American revolution and their heroes consisting of Washington and Jefferson. Don't forget who had the upper hand at that time and chose to squeeze out "communism" above nationalism and instead preferred and imposed other types of much more corrupted and suppressive dictatorships (Marcos prime example). OK, so China ended up with their own Jiang Qing after a few failures of their 10-year plans. That was their achilles heel, but not Mao's intentions.

After decades of isolation by western colonialists and many attempts of Great Leap Forward self-sufficiencies, the enormous energy of that society in China is presently being unleashed on a world unprepared to face the consequences.

Mq, face up to reality. Don't be so self righteous and so narrow minded. It was as much the doing of the western world that forced China to be self sufficient and isolate themselves by imposed restrictions from outside. And the rise of Jiang Qing's cultural revolution. All circumstances that befallen upon China in late 1940's and early 1950's led to what subsequently transpired and what it is today. The greatness of Mao is reflected in today's unified China and Chinese all over the world can thank Mao for they are not considered as coolies no more. Capiche, on that point?

Governing and guiding China's transformation is no simple undertaking. Spreading the development and prosperity within China, which if they succeed in the next twenty years, that could be the blueprint for a Eurasian community and economy. If that actually will transpire, then all that happened will become moot because the new generation of mankind leaderships will have arisen at the proper time sequence and why the 50 years of lag was necessary.
