Dean is not a wacko. He was the first one to draw attention that Bush had the potential to screw things up. He did so at a convention I attended in January 2003.

And one year later, we all are realizing the mess Bush got us into. Even Bush is realizing the mess he got this country as was evidenced by his interview on TV on Sunday. So it was Dean who first spoke to the "Democratic" wing of the Democratic party. He swept me off my feet then. Unfortunately, he could not execute his plan well.
