Iraq is a mess. Not as bad as Nam yet but not that different. The main similarity is that we based the war on a lie, and that we cannot tell friend from foe. Those are two dangerous precedents. I pity the soldiers there. Hopefully Kerry can find a way to pacify the country and gradually bring them all home. I know one thing, the moment Bush is out of power the UN and NATO will come to our aid, eagerly. The real problem there is that just cannot stand Bush.
