While I suspect that China may have cut the rebate taxes more for their own purposes (getting control of their growth rate), I would agree that's where the real game is. While China is holding its exchange rate english.eastday.com , it's increasingly "making moves" with other world power centers. Whether it's Russian oil themoscowtimes.com , or the French led EU gambit news.xinhuanet.com . Suspect the neo-cons are squirming. All of this doesn't look good for the hegemony.
