No, actually he's shorting the dollar. I saw his announcement on CNBC myself. Either way, Soros can spend his money in any way he sees fit. I just won't subscribe to his vision of the world nor to his view that Bush must go, because he is indeed a hypocrite.

I would recommend you look at the "compassionate conservative" for the ultimate example.

I don't see the hypocrisy you supposedly see, except perhaps for the lack of fiscal restraint. But then again, maybe that's the price of such "compassion." The opposite would be "tough love," but I truly doubt any politician has the courage to pursue this.
