Like I said, As I said, please. Consult Strunk and White if you're in doubt as to the correct usage of like and as. Excuse me, but if I wanted a grammar lesson, I would ask for one. I find it hard to believe that evangelical Christians would vote for Gore. You oversimplify the situation. Many southern evangelical Christians are traditionally Democrats, and wouldn't vote for one of them Republicans to save their lives. Jimmy Carter, for example, garnered a lot of evangelical Christians support, and still sways Southern voters today toward the Democratic party. "Them Republicans"? Thank you for the info. and update. I had thought most southern dems were either black or white, non-church going liberals. Big deal! I agree, oversimplification and prejudice are a big deal. As you grow older, you will realize that humans are more complex than you presently give them credit for. Please don't patronize me. You have no idea how old I am.
