apollo is apparently a mutual or hedge fund group, and they own millions of shares in their various funds....as far as i know apollo is not controlled by any of the company principals, so it has no relation at all to any insider

certainly they have sold some shares into strength, i would love to have millions of shares of RCII i bought at lower prices, and i would surely do the same

they bought shares in 2002 at about 11 bucks split adjusted (RCII split 5 for 2 last year), probably using some options from an earlier financing deal when RCII needed cash for an acquisition, so their shares from that time have now almost tripled...in looking at the yahoo data more closely, it's clear that the shares they sold are double counted, as the combined sales of the two funds equal the total sold by apollo advisors, LP, so in reality they sold 2.75M shares and still hold 18.3M shares...not exactly a wholesale liquidation of their position
