Soros can get away with his contributions because the group he is supporting, Moveon.org, isn't officially affiliated with any political party. Of course, they just happened to support the very same things the Democrats support, but no law in the land can make that judgement without infringing on 1st amendment rights.

Then I don't see what your complaint is. The only difference I see between Soros and rich Reps. who support org. that promote Rep. values is that Soros has gone public with his position.
