To start the day off with a bang...
Dell now qualifies as a 'giant'
biz.yahoo.com
<<< U.S. giant Dell Inc (NasdaqNM:DELL - News), which has mounted a major campaign in China in the last year, saw its unit sales grow 63 percent to grab 6.8 percent market share. That was enough to take away the No 2 spot from Founder Electronics, which finished the year with 6.2 percent market share.>>>
Now if Dell could sell 7% of the Chinese a computer at
$1000/ea that would be $84 bil in sales for China alone.
Worth a try, anyway. Could even charge less per unit. And the ink sales would be 'out of this world'.

Dell meeting? I am not sure will be there. Family is having a
meeting in Chicago on August 14 to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of my grandfather arriving here in the US on a wooden ship.Sometime after the Civil War. (g)
