Men were writing down plays and poems , and great epic stories and histories for centuries before Paul/Saul ...and and the many philosophers before him that covered the ground of wisdom so thoroughly , that even one such as Paul could not have missed in Helenist influenced Palestine/ Israel. And afterwords. Because you have not chosen to read even the tiniest fragment of these other writings from out of all other cultures , or know anything more than you have about those that came before , or choose to narrow your scope to what little you know , has no bearing on truth of the history of the maturing and collected wisdom of the human race . All human writing has the potential for being scripture , that's where you miss out on truth so much , and fall for your own simpleton and ignorant flat~lines of thought , so much. The Bible is not the history of the human race , does not even come close. The Golden Rule was not a Christian idea or invention , nor was love , compassion or charity . Or the divine nature of the great experiences of life . So if God spoke to anyone , he obviously was speaking to all , all along . Try and break out of your tiny box little one , you might like the fresh air outside, it is quite a beautiful world in spite of your wicked prejudiced rantings. MY , how some Christians give such a beautifully concieved Religion , on the sacrifice and torture of its teacher , such a black cast and colour . When it should be a religion of light , you make it so dark. Ever heard of the expression of "Lighten Up" ? hehe ;) PS: Maybe you should just go join the monastary , forget the lightening up. <G>
