Read more carefully--as identified in 1st sentence, those were not my words; however, original lobbying by individual American citizens was not evil. It became so when the Gucci Gulch crowd absconded with what was once citizens method of communication with their reps. Today foreign & multi-national corps lobbyists have built a Chinese wall that prevents access by average American citizens. Current lobbyist activities are indeed evil & at odds with best interests of the USA.
