Tom Sweeney, Chairman of the Board - Prior to Managed Storage, Sweeney was part of the original management team at Level 3 Communications, where he was responsible for the development of all products and services globally. Sweeney also served as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Alternate Channels at WorldCom, Inc. and Senior Vice President Business Development at MFS Communications, as well as various other executive positions at MFS and MCI Communications.
Michael Knaisch – Chief Executive Officer - Mr. Knaisch, 46, will assume direct responsibility for all domestic and international operations of the Company. He joins FPDI after four years at Level 3 Communications where he was most recently Senior Vice President of Sales. During his tenure at Level 3, Mr. Knaisch launched the global Web Hosting product suite, ran the Strategic Alliance group, and managed global sales channels, which targeted large systems integrators and the media and entertainment sector. Prior to Level 3, Mr. Knaisch was President of DDB Interactive, the new media division of DDB Needham Worldwide. During his tenure with DDBI, Mr. Knaisch built the division from fledgling start-up to become one of Ad Ages Top Ten Interactive Agencies in 1997. That year DDBI also was recognized by ADWEEK as Southwest Interactive Agency of the Year. Before joining DDBI, Mr. Knaisch held a number of senior management positions at award-winning advertising agencies.
Matthew Richman – Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer - Mr. Richman, 32, brings over 10 years of business management, financial and information systems experience in a variety of industries and roles, including Telecommunications and Information Technology. His prior experience includes: business and financial planning and strategy, auditing, SEC, initial public offerings, e-business and IT consulting, operational consulting, business processes, internal controls and others. Prior to joining Front Porch Digital, Mr. Richman served as Chief Financial Officer of Advanced Data Center, Inc. where he played a crucial role in the business/strategic planning, business development and capital raising activities. Previously, Mr. Richman served as Vice President of Finance for TelePlace, Inc. a collocation and managed services company. Before TelePlace, Mr. Richman spent six years with Deloitte & Touche LLP in various auditing and consulting roles.
Dr. Jay Yogeshwar - Chief Technology Officer - Dr. Jay Yogeshwar has been in the forefront of digital video research and development for over a decade. He has actively participated in the international standards body meetings as a member of the US delegate in the areas of MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 digital video compression standards. As a research scientist with Toshiba, Dr. Yogeshwar played a key role in the development of DVD-related technologies, and helped set up the worlds first DVD pre-mastering facility at the Time Warner CVC studios. Dr. Yogeshwar also received several patents for his pioneering work in the areas of software encoding, decoding and editing of standard and high definition digital video. As head of a high tech consulting firm, Dr. Yogeshwar provided software and systems designs to leading corporations, such as Microsoft, Turner Broadcasting sales, FutureTel, Worldgate Communications, etc. Dr. Yogeshwar also has received recognition through the publication of numerous papers and articles on digital media and compression technology. Dr. Yogeshwar received both his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University.

Rino Petricola – Vice President, Europe & Asia Business Development and Marketing - Rino Petricola has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of industries including media, telecommunications and information technology. For the past seven years, Mr. Petricola has been involved in developing broadcast-related markets for video servers as well as digital archives and media management applications. Before joining the Front Porch Digital team, Mr. Petricola worked with a variety of technology companies including Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), StorageTek and ManagedStorage International. Mr. Petricola's areas of expertise include management, marketing, business development, professional services, system integration and engineering. |
