You are right about that, those field agents were completely ignored. Cya is the name of the game, and throw more money at it is the current theme.

I don't think our intelligence has been good for some time because as I stated earlier Clinton basically downsized our military to the point of disgrace along with those in intelligence. Willy had a chance to get Osama and didn't. I think we'll find him this year as they have a good idea now where he's hiding. Let us never forget 9/11. There is not any doubt that some bumbling bureaucrats screwed up however I think we are in a bigtime learning mode and GW is getting a crash course. No one said any of this was easy but I feel we are getting the upper hand on the terrorists networks. Our biggest obstacle has been getting cooperation from the rest of the world.
