spirit. you said...." Kosovo is not led by the UN. The US has its own sector and command our own forces."....

Yes I know that and I have never ever said or suggested such a thing..It was you that brought up that topic.

You said....." One thing I know, gas prices are back above $2 in my neighborhood. Bush has brought us the highest energy prices of our lives."....

Do you think that the dollar losing value may have something to do with what appears to be higher gas prices?

Like gold...as the dollar falls price of gold goes up.

gas prices are back above $2 in my neighborhood. Bush has brought us the highest energy prices of our lives

Dimwit remedial education class in session:

FYI, California, in its never ending quest to devour taxpayers assets, saw fit to slap a sales tax (currently around 9% or so) on gasoline, this on top of an already healthy state gasoline tax. So who benefits the most from ever higher prices?? Hint: It's not Bush.

In addition, the CARB, in it's infinite collective wisdom, has mandated the so called "reformulated" gas (the kind who's additives poisoned half the wells in South Lake Tahoe), which means that the refineries need to use additional costly steps in processing the crude and need more of it, as well.

Class dismissed. You can go play on the freeway now...
