Here's what I consider the best article yet on the subject: calpundit.com I drew a timeline and opened every link. Kevin is on to something here. Dumbya got into some sort of unexplained "trouble" with his TANG unit in early '72, after which he was transferred to a USAFR "Disciplinary Unit in October of that year. The Alabama reassignment story really doesn't hold up, if you examine the records on this site. The Calpundit site is probably the only blog that's keeping ahead of the national press on this story. It's actually a pretty good all-round link, if you want to hear the news that isn't propagandized on the "Mighty Wurlitzer" (the major Neocon Media.)
